Walk around this exciting city with your expert food guide, full of culinary delights and secrets, while biting into a variety of sweet and savory mouthwatering treats from local producers.

Step into the carefully selected food stores that have been around for decades and sample ingredients that locals use in their daily dishes: olives, spices, cheeses, and nuts, among others. On your way there, you will learn how Greece’s cuisine has evolved over the centuries and how today’s recipes keep traditions alive through modern-day cooking practices. Walk around the colorful fruit & vegetable sections, get a whiff of the seasonal crops, and enjoy the lively market atmosphere!

Finally, play a blind-tasting game to see which member of the family has the best taste buds: cover your eyes, smell, and then bite into the snack – is it bread with feta cheese? Is it ice cream? Which flavor? Perhaps you are indulging in loukoumades, a Greek version of donuts dipped in honey, sprinkled with cinnamon, and topped with chopped walnuts. Or maybe a spinach pie?
