Platys Gialos

is home to some of the best hotels with frequent bus service to Mykonos Town. It is also a point of departure for boats that serve as water taxis to almost all the beaches. It is a fully organized beach and ideal for families with its shallow crystal clear waters and hotels along the sandy beach. It provides water sports, scuba diving, yacht trips around Mykonos and fishing out to sea. There are many restaurants providing different cuisines.

Agia Anna

located between Platys Gialos and Paraga is quiet and relaxing without the big crowds and noise. Its crystal clear waters offer great opportunity for snorkeling and diving. It has a tavern, sun beds and umbrellas and large rocks where you can sit and sun yourself.

Paraga

is one of the more popular beaches with its restaurants and bars. It is home to Skorpios, one of the best spots for watching the sunset, food and partying. Paraga headland separates into two sandy beaches, the south one calmer while the north side is fully organized with taverns.

Paradise

is the famous party beach, filled with bars that are open day and night. It is considered that Paradise beach essentially brought in tourism to the island back in the 1970’s. It is full of bars and restaurants and summer parties start in mid-afternoon and last until sunrise. Up on the hill overlooking the beach is Cavo Paradise Club, one of the most popular nightspots of the island, attracting international DJs in summer.

The crystal clear waters and sandy beaches are the main highlight of these 5 beaches which provide you with the choice of whether you want a quiet, relaxing time or are geared up to party till the early hours. Their proximity to one another makes for long leisurely walks, following the coastal footpaths between them.
