Semi-Self Exploration Athens and Corfu Adventure

This day includes two tours for you and your family. In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel for a tour of Athens and the Acropolis. The tour covers the stadium of the first Modern Olympics, the Temple of Zeus, Syntagma Square, and the Acropolis. Afterward, return to your hotel for a break and lunch.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel and our driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Corfu. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to your chosen hotel. Corfu offers a variety of hotels to fit every budget and preference. The rest of the day is free for you to explore. You can visit the local beach, relax by the hotel pool, or wander around the charming port town.

After breakfast, our representative will deliver your rental car to your hotel. Please let us know if you need child or booster seats. You can explore the island at your own pace. Corfu has many great beaches and treasures for you and your family to discover.

This holiday offers the freedom to explore Corfu by car. Drive through olive groves, vineyards, and fields of wildflowers. Visit Paleokastritsa Bay and the Monastery of the Virgin, which features a museum with Byzantine icons. Enjoy panoramic views of the bay from the monastery’s gardens.
Continue to Corfu town for a walking tour of the historic Old Quarter, built by the Venetians over 400 years ago. Walk through the Esplanade square, visit the old church of Saint Spyridon, and explore the flea market and shopping district near Town Hall. Find secluded beaches along the coastal road and relax with a meal at a Greek tavern.

A great family activity is a boat ride to the nearby islands of Paxi and Antipaxi. The tour includes an outward-bound crossing to explore sea caves and their stunning blue waters. In Antipaxi, enjoy an hour of swimming in clear waters or relaxing with the beautiful scenery. The final stop is in Gaios, the capital town of Paxos, where you can visit shops, bars, and quayside tavernas to sample traditional Greek food and find unique souvenirs.

On your final day in Corfu, visit Aqualand, one of Europe’s best water parks. It’s perfect for adults and kids, offering a fun-filled day for everyone. Enjoy slides, the hydro-tube, and the lazy river. There are plenty of child-size slides and attractions like the slippery octopus and bouncy castle. For relaxation, unwind in the jacuzzi or float around the lazy river. Our representative will pick up the car from your hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Our driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your flight back to Athens, connecting with your flight home. Contact us if you need an extra night in Athens.
