Rome is a city you walk through layer by layer. A Roman temple sits next to a Baroque church, and a two-thousand-year-old forum is a short walk from your morning espresso. Our Rome vacation packages give you the big sights with expert guides and timed tickets, then leave room for long lunches and evening walks.
Many of our trips to Rome continue to Florence and Venice, or fly on to Athens and the Greek islands for one trip across both countries. You will find all of them below, including Italy honeymoon packages.
Every itinerary can change to fit your dates, budget and pace. Browse all our Italy vacation packages.

Florence Vacation Packages Florence packs more Renaissance art into a few streets than most countries have in total. Michelangelo's David, the Uffizi and Brunelleschi's dome are all within a short walk, and the Tuscan hills start just outside town. Our…

Spring (April to June): Warm days and flowers on the terraces. A great time for walking, though Easter week is very busy.
Summer (July and August): Hot and crowded at the big sights. We book early entry slots and plan the afternoons around shade, museums and a rest.
Autumn (September and October): Our favorite season in Rome. The heat breaks, the light is soft, and it is a good time to add the Greek islands.
Winter (November to March): Cooler and quieter, with shorter lines. December brings Christmas markets and nativity scenes across the city.
We choose a hotel that keeps you within walking distance of the sights you care about most.

Hotel Stendhal: classic elegance, modern comfort, and Roman charm near the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps in central Rome.

Our packages that include Rome start at around €2,000 per person. The price depends on the season, your hotels, how much private guiding you want and where you go next, such as Florence, Venice or Greece. International flights are extra, and you see an itemized price before you commit.
Three nights suits most travelers. That gives you one day for the Colosseum and Forum, one for the Vatican, and one for the old center and Trastevere. With a fourth night you can add a day trip to Pompeii or the Tuscan countryside.
Yes. Both use timed tickets that sell out in busy months, and walk-up lines can take hours. On our trips, the tickets for the sites in your itinerary are booked before you arrive, often with an early entry slot.
By air. The flight from Rome to Athens takes about two and a half hours, and there are also flights to some Greek islands in summer. We book the flight and the transfers on both sides, so the move between countries is one easy travel day.
